Last year I started working with the children and staff to help our school become a 'Plastic Clever School'. We had assemblies and produced posters to promote why plastic should be reduced. Lots of you carried out a litter pick in October half term and all of this went towards this award. We also looked at how much plastic we use in school and our classroom recycling bins have helped us to reduce lots of waste. I am also pleased with how much parents and carers ensure that most of the packed lunch has some recyclable element. This is all a great start and I am pleased to tell you we have completed Round 1 which means we are a Plastic Clever School! We will now continue onto round 2!
