STEM Activities in Year 5
Over the past fortnight, Year 5 have had a fantastic time learning all about building bridges, by taking part in a STEM project called "Build To The Line".
Led by Mr Robinson, from The Learning Partnership and Mrs Ashmore from Promethean, they enjoyed closely studying a range of bridges using Google Earth, and then used Algadoo to simulate their ideas and to test out predictions. Collaboratively, they designed their own structures and created a variety of large scale cardboard models. We have some very enthusiastic and talented engineers amongst us !
