On Monday 9th March a group of 16 Japanese secondary school students visited Four Oaks Primary School to work with Year 6 and the pupils were able to exchange ideas and songs about their respective countries. The Year 6 pupils sang the school song and delivered a presentation about our school. Click here to view the presentation. The Japanese students sang songs, showed a DVD about their school and then showed the Year 6 pupils how to write Japanese calligraphy and how to fold paper shapes, passing on their origami skills.
Below are some photographs of this exciting and very different afternoon in school. We hope you enjoy them and that for Year 6 they bring back some happy memories !
