Chick Watch 2011

Re-live the excitement of our time with the chicks !

Our Reception children had a very special batch of Easter eggs this year. Over three weeks, they watched very closely to see if they could notice any signs of hatching and new life !

Eventually, nature took its course and 11 new chicks arrived over a period of 4 days. They moved from the incubator to the brooder box where they could move around and feed as they got used to the world around them.  Below you can play the recorded video footage of the week's exciting events so that you can all re-live those dramatic moments again !

Yet again, many thanks to David Pittaway, our IT Technician ,for the hours he has put into making this fantastic video record of a very exciting time at Four Oaks Primary !

If you enjoyed the video then why not click the play button on the podcast below to hear all about the chicks from the Reception children themselves !
