School Council Photographic Competition 2016

In January the School Council set the rest of the pupils in school a challenge. They announced the very first School Council Photographic Competition and set the pupils the target of taking a photograph of the school site that wouldn't age over the years.

The rules were simple; the photo must have been taken by one of the children from Reception to Year 6, the photo could not have any pupils or teachers in them, and finally they must be of an aspect of the school site whether man-made or natural.

The children in each class would then choose one winning photograph and that photo would be re-created on a real canvas and then hung up around the school somewhere. The 14 class winners (which you can see below) would then be judged by the School Council to select one single Infant winner and one single Junior winner. An extra canvas of these two photographs would be created and given to the two winning photographers to take home and hang in pride of place in their house !

So which photo do you think will win ? Take a look below and see which one grabs your attention !

Our winners have been announced - the two photos that have won the competition are the pictures taken by the Ladybird Class and by Jack Joeres in 6G !
